Happy 15th sweetie!!Hope you have a great day! And...... if we win later today, we're gonna have a big party!!
Happy 15th sweetie!!
Isn't she just gorgeous? Even got two awards!! Honourroll for an average of more than 80% and a math award... I'm so proud right now!!
And yes, she's gorgeous too! I'm very proud of her, making it to getting her diploma in 3 years, in a new country, with a new language, it wasn't easy! But, she did it!!
This girl, Anouk, graduates from Elementary school tomorrow.... with gown and all the picture was taken about 2 months ago, but they don't have to wear them during the ceremonies. Just another nice dress and some high heels... accessories, make-up, and she's done! Hope my camera's working, so I can show you pictures of the event later this week!
And this one, Marloes, graduates from highschool Thursday! And they have to wear the gown and cap stuff, oh my gosh, that's going to be so awesome! I'm so proud of them both! 3 Years in Canada, doing great, speaking English like they never learned anything else, having lots of friends......
I've made this ATC
And this birthday card for my great-aunt with that technique, and I think they turned out nice!
Another birthday card, made it yesterday..... don't look mom, be patient!!!
With this ATC I had so much fun, clear embossing, sponging with ink, stamping.... and that great bee-woman.... love it if I may say so myself:-)
A couple of weeks ago I showed you a 4x4 canvas I'd made, and it was time to give her a little sister, so I made this one! And now they're hanging together in my scraproom, looks great!
A little detail of heat embossed grungeboard letters!

And this is blingbling detail of mine!!!
And this is what I've made of it! My oldest daughter playing golf..... And when the layout was finished I realized I had the pictures in the wrong order.... and she's no star at all cause she misses..... Ha, ha, so much for a detailed scrapper.... never thought of it! But, I still like it a lot!
More bling, I just love that Hotfix!!!!
This is what I made of it.... my 2 silly girls.... So stop by, see what we all did, print out the sketch and start working! There's a great prize this month too..... you never know, you might even win this time!!
So, please put it on your blog, you all are such an inspiration and it's a joy to visit each of you!
The inspiration for this card came from the book Scrapcards, which I got from my sis Jeanet, and she actually made the card I lifted, with totally different papers, but I like it a lot! Lets hope Anouk does too!
Well....... I haven't scrapped about emotions.... and have pictures about that subject, but sometimes it is just hard to scrap those...... But now I did. From a year ago when my mom came over for a visit...boy....those emotions kept coming and they still do when I look at pictures from that time........

(papers used BG Boxer, Blush and Perhaps and sticker letters, Prima Flowers, buttons, lace, Gel-a-Tin clock stamps and black Zig writer)

Paper'08 a new operation up and running! ART...... ha, that's a good thing...... Just journaled about what art means to me! As always without pictures, which is getting real hard sometimes!!
A bit blurry, but if you wanna read my journaling, click on the picture!!
In the front yard we have a Maple tree, and as we are completely re-decorating outside, (it's all soil now, we're going to seed new grass!) we thought it would be nice to make a circle around the tree. So we bought some scalloped curved stones and..... this is the result!
Mom, look, we've changed the stones next to the garage too, don't you like these a lot better? We do!
We got some perannials too, like this Korean Dwarf Lilac, which grows till about 1,5 metres!
More plants for on the deck, we filled up the pots we had outside, bought a new hanging basket too, and put one at the front of the house which looks very nice!
Marloes is doing co-op at the moment and has to make a project about her work. What's better than a scrapbook if you've got a mom with lots of supplies! So we decided to work on it on the deck, really nice, and we even got sunburned....... not so nice!
And, of course, with the two girls outside,I had to have some new photos of them together! This is one of them, I made more, but...... you have to wait to see those, I ordered them and am planning to make a layout with those photos. Got it all in my head, has to be put on paper now..... oops........

Finally I tried to do some scrappin' and I managed!

I just had to do this layout of my youngest daughter Anouk, who was talking to me about getting adjusted here in Canada, and how normal speaking English at school was becoming, almost as normal as speaking Dutch! I know she doesn't like this photo of her at all, but I love it, that's just the way she can look, when she's reading! Has nothing to do with the layout, but.. I just love the photo!
Used paper is Three bugs in a rug, Prima Flowers, lace, Zig pen, Maya Road journaling sheers and We R Memory Keepers chipboard letters.
Here's a close up of the journaling, hope you can read it, it says a lot about how my girl is adjusting here and I think she's doing great!
Photo was taken last Monday, the day the kids had a snowday and Anouk and I went for a walk. Love this photo!
The papers used are by Carolees Creations, an old Winterline, but hey, I like old lines!!

Anouk, tobogganing down the hill in our back yard, she had so much fun! Papers are Basic Grey Blitzen and Dasher.

Just in case I don't have any more blogging to do this weekend, I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!
Don't you think I just have the sweetest girls? It was Marloes' idea, she wanted to buy it for me, Henk said that she should save it for Christmas, but no, she wanted to give it right away, "cause mom can use a surprise dad!"... Oh girly..... you had me there, tears running down..... (I'm such an emotional person) but I wasn't the only one here... that happens when you have two girls!!
I had the perfect photo, the perfect papers and here it is........

TFL and have a great weekend!
