2x a challenge, just me scrappin' and....... a job!

This week I found a new challenge blog, and what the girls there did was so great, that I wanted to join. Say it in Scrap is their blog, you really have to check it out!!

So several months ago I came across this ad from Hellman's Mayo, that said "which way to real?"

Okay okay, so the challenge is.....drum roll please! To use this ad as inspiration to create your own "real" layout. Use the sketch, use the phrase, use a thought the phrase or sketch led to, make it your own. Remember, this is about coming to a place where you can say ANYTHING you want to without being censored!

Here's my take on the challenge, used materials are Bazill cardstock, Making Memories Note Worthy paper and glitter stickers, felt letters, a doily (that's what it says on the wrapping it came in) which I inked pink, an Autumn Leaves stamp for journaling and my stash of pink buttons..... ok, some black and white in there too!!

***
The next one is from the Category Stories blog, and I had fun with this one!
maxn' and relaxn'so what do you do to unwind? watch a movie? take a walk? listen to your favorite tunes?? or maybe you just need to remind yourself to kick back and relax once in awhile.

Don't know why but for some reason I have to use buttons and lace on my layouts lately!!

And this is what I do to relax!

Used papers are Basic Grey Romani, lace, buttons, felt and foam stickerletters, dymo, Maya Road journaling sheets, and paint ofcause!

The last layout I did this week has to do with 2 good friends of mine. Not a challenge or anything, just a layout I did for myself.

These 2 girls went to the Dutch SiS crop and decided they had to have a photo of them both, waving at me!! And I love it!! Jeanet and Mireille are such sweet and lovely girls, very very dear to me and I miss them very much! So girls, this one is for you!!

Used papers are a mix of Basic Gray Recess, Mellow, Infuse and Perhaps, lace, Autum Leaves stamp, Prima's, rubons and chipboard letters painted gold. The little embellishment I took from a skirt Anouk had and didn't want anymore!

And last but not least..... I've got great news......... I'VE GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!!! Monday April 28th I start working at MacDonalds and I'm really looking forward to it! It's a very friendly place here in Simcoe, nice ladies, and it gets me out of the house, finally after 2 years!! I don't know the hours exactly, but about 20 a week, and that's fine by me!! I'm so excited!!!!!!!

Ok, thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend/day.......week??

Woehaa!!! Yes!!!
