Goodies in the mail and sneaks!

Yeah, this week is a week of goodies!!! Yesterday a big box from mom, today..... a big box filled with Honig goodies!! This has a story I have to tell you! We just love Macaroni Stroganoff mix, manufactured by Honig, a Dutch company. But, here in Norwich, we can buy those mixes, so every once in a while..... well, just a treat!! The last time I bought this, and wanted to cook diner, I opened the package and it looked brown instead of kind of orange/red..... it smelled weird... Ok, I thought maybe they'd changed the ingredients, so put everything in the pan and started stirring.... Boy oh boy, did that stuff smell aweful!! And the taste was even worse! Actually, it tasted like cardboard, and that's no good! So, bye bye macaroni..... we made something from scratch! But..... I've sent Honig an email, to ask what could have happened. The only explanation they had, was that there might have been a little tear in the package and the mix got bad. They wanted to keep me sattisfied, but, unfortunately didn't sent outside of the Netherlands, so, if I had an address in the Netherlands they could sent it to.... Ha, yes, sure I did!!! I asked my dear brother, and he was so kind to receive the goodies, didn't keep it LOL, and sent it to me, and in a week time....... THEY ARE HERE!!!!

Very clever he removed the boxes, so less weight, and made color copies of them, so..... look what we've got! All very yummie food, (exept for the Tomato soup, don't like that at all!!), but we all love those foreign meals, so I just can't wait to make some of these! Like the CousCous, sounds so terrible delicious! Or potato stir fry! Wouldn't you love to taste that?? I do!! So, dear brother (and SIL) thanks so much for sending this to us, we deffinately are gonna enjoy this!
(and if I need more, I'll give you a call ha ha!)

Then, today, I finally started to work on the mini-book. Silly, but working with these photos makes me kind of sad, and miss all the wonderful days me and mom had together even more.

A detailed photo of the first page, I'm not showing the whole page yet, you'll have to wait till I'm done with the book! I think it looks better/nicer to show it complete!

And another sneak peek, inside of the frontcover, used for a journaling spot. This whole album is going to be done with Basic Grey Periphery, love those papers, and I can't imagine my LSS won't sell them, cause they don't find them gorgeous....... some people.......

Thanks for looking and have a great day!
