Surprise

What surprised you this last week, that's Emily's prompt for week 19 of the Art Journal challenge! Well, I had to think about that one, and maybe it's a kind of different surprise, but..... as the journaling on the back reads, actually my daughter Marloes was the reason I was surprised.......

The journaling says;
It may be a strange kind of surprise, but I was surprised when I saw this picture of my daughter made last Saturday. All of a sudden she looks like a young woman, 16 years old she turned, and I can remember the day she was born as if it was yesterday. So tiny, 5 weeks early, had to be put in an incubator. And now, my little girl is growing up to be a beautiful girl who’s got her whole life ahead of her! Love her lots and lots.

For some reason I have to add flowers on every card, but I like it, so, who cares! I also painted a tiny clothes pin I bought in a bag at the Dollarama, love that store so much! That's why the scan is a little blurry, the pin is kind of thick!

Love to see all the other cards, so that's my thing for after supper:-)
