An award, goodies in the mail, winter, and a layout.

It looks like I'm a pretty bad blogger lately, but I had computer problems and it's still not good. I can't even get to my pictures, lost all my fav's...... and I don't like that at all, not getting to my pictures is the worst part..... Hopefully my private pc doctor can find a way, but I doubt it, he's been working on it for over 4 hours yesterday and nothing he does helps!

I also have had a bad bladder infection since last week Sunday, got medications two times, it works a bit, but my kidneys still hurt, the pain comes and goes, but it's very uncomfortable! Hopefully it's gone by Christmas!

Ok, back to reality! I got this reward from Chimene, thank you so much, it means a lot to me!

This award has a special sentiment wich is........This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships. These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of the prizes are cut, even more friendships are propogated. Please give more attentions to these writers! Deliver this award to 8 blogger’s who must choose eight more and include this clevery written text into the body of their award.

I give this award to all of you girls who visit my blog and whom I visit, you all are such an inspiration, and a daily pleasure to me!

Then this, I received this in the mail this week, all kind of music books, love love love them!!! For some reason the stores I look in, don't have them, but good friends in Holland do and are so kind to send them to me! Also some very cute vintage pictures she found, oh boy, I can't wait to play with those! Andrea, thank you so much!

This is what our street looks like, well, actually a bit worse, cause it has been snowing since last Friday! Snow storm warnings, wind warnings, snow squall warnings, that's all you hear on the news..... and yes, it's still snowing and probably going to until next Tuesday. White Christmas........ yep, we will have that for sure!

And finally a layout I can show you, I started this one more then a week ago, but had to work almost every day and couldn't finish it.

Some flowers, with brads from the Dollarama.

This is my uncle from my fathers side of the family, love the photo, no idea what year it is, but he was about 5 or 6 years old. On the photo I used Distress ink Vintage Photo and love the effect it gives! I used that on one of the flowers too, and on the cotton lace! The stamped image with the buttons and numbers I got from my friend Jacqueline, and the picture on top from my great-aunt. It's an old children's drawing by Cornelis Jetses,

Ot and Sien, a childrens book from the Netherlands.

The chipboard letters I made myself, using old rice boxes and my sidekick and I like the way they turned out, Distress ink Black Soot did the rest!

Ok, that's it for this time, thanks for stopping by, and enjoy your day!
