Paper Adventure '08 #6 and LOAD2

I'm so loving these Paper'08 challenges!!! This week it's all about COLOR! Great idea Elise, I had a blast.... full with journaling, and not even having trouble not using any photos!

This week, channel color.
Write about, or think about, or sing about your relationship with color. Or your inability to see color. Or how you hate all color. Or how you live for color. Think about what colors you are drawn to. About the colors you wear. The colors you choose to have in your home.

(if you click on the picture you can read the journaling)

Here's my take on COLOR, all the journaling is printed on vellum paper and every word that represents a color is printed in the corresponding color...(still understandable??) The title is done with alpha stickers by Doodlebug, staples in every corner, a clip on top with a ribbon tied around it from the Dollarama!

Through Paule I found a sort of challenge blog, done by Amanda, which is actually a LOAD challenge. (short for layout a day) I know myself and just can't do that, not because of lack of time, but just because I don't feel like scrappin' everyday! (I know.......weird......)

Anyway..... Every Friday Amanda gives a sort of prompt/theme for the week and if you want to, you make a layout everyday!

This week you could only use ONE photograph ONE sheet of cardstock ONE sheet of patterned paper ONE pen (meaning NO computer, and NO alpha stickers!)ONE embellishment.

Well, that was fun!!! I used a 6x12 piece of white cardstock, one photo of Anouk, pp is Basic Grey Infuse, ONE paper, but I cut the strips out!, used a brown Zig writer and the embellishment is the Prima flower.

Photobucket

For some reason there is this kind of yellow shadow on the picture, no idea where that came from, the cardstock is as white as can be!!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Gorgeous page. I have yet to do mine but am so tired since returning home. I find card quick to do but the pages take a bit of thought.
Love the colour you have used. Great layout too. Hope you are starting to feel better. I got a cold just before I went away but had far too much fun to notice it. It hit me when I got home instead.
