AAE New Beginning and Paper 08 #4

Finally the All About Eve girls were back after the Holidays, with a great challenge!

What is more fitting for the new year than a challenge about new beginnings.2008 is a whole new year, full of endless possibilities. What are your goals for the year? A particular Resolution that you are trying the hardest to keep? Have you already broken a resolution (I know I have).Perhaps you would like to focus on a new beginning outside of the start of a new year: the birth of a child, a new puppy, first day of school? Perhaps you are just trying new things, new recipes, new vacation spots...the possibilities are endless!

After a lot of thinking, and other paper then Basic Grey, I came up with this. Hopefully a job is gonna be my new beginning this year! Papers are by Artic Frog, had them laying around for years and finally decided to use them!

Autumn Leaves stitched journaling stamp is used for my ..... right, journaling! Ok, keep your fingers crossed they'll call me!!!

And today, Elise came with another great prompt for the Paper Adventure 08! I loved it, Freeze Time!

So do it, freeze the day.
Pick a day. It could be today, could be tomorrow, could be next week. Make a list of what you do on this day. RECORD it. So next year, next month or next decade, you will be able to look back and REMEMBER what a day was TODAY was like in your life.

I didn't pick today, cause my life is so very exciting........ not.... but yesterday it was different then other days, at least for me and the rest of my family it was!

I made a list of my very exciting daily schedule and highlighted the best time of the day in pink! Yes, you read it right, we booked our trip to Holland in July!! So happy, so special to see everybody again, but the most wonderful part is seeing my brother getting married!

Ok, pictures won't enlarge I guess today, so a little close-up is in order here!!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Love your pages, Marjolein. I especially love the pink and black combo in your Paper Adventure challenge and the button on top. I see what you mean about our journaling being similar -- great minds think alike, eh?!! Your organized scraproom looks great. Mine is a disaster right now.

SOrry to hear that ya didn't get the job!

And it's okay about the temperature whine, even with the C to F converison. I lived in Texas for 4 years and thought anything below 50 F was FRIGID! LOL! Needless to say, my blood has rethinkened since moving northward again! :)

Love the layout girl, so cool!!
That pasta steve made for me was so simple! Just boil the pasta till cooked how you like it! Slice some garlic and pop into the pan with a bit of olive oil, add some spinach and then a tin of good quality tomatoes. Cook through until warm, then add a few torn basil leaves, add the pasta, mix and serve with some good hard cheese! Yummo!!

I admit it. I scraplifted your page. I just liked it too much not to sketch it on a post-it note and wait for the opportunity to use it! Here's my version: little gifts
