Art Journal Challenge #29

Michelle (Scrapcouture), I really like the lovely comments you leave on my blog, but can't open your blog! Please let me know where I can find your cards/blog!!!!

This weeks prompt is: define perfection! What is perfection to you right now?

Ok, Emily...... thanks so much:-))) At the moment, so many things are perfection for me, that I decided to give it a twist....and I wanted to step outside the box for once! So, as I am a person who wants to be perfect all the time, I decided to do this weeks prompt about me!

And because I had so much fun with my camera in front of the mirror some time ago, I used one of those pictures, rub ons from the Dollarama (great colors!!) and sanded the edges a bit.

Well, here you go, this is perfection in my dictionary....... my middle name!! Used a fun font in the same colors as the rub ons, an Autumn Leaves stamp, hard to see on the scan, but it is there! Also sanded the edges and was done.... Thought it was nice to do the prompt a bit different for once!!

Now, some VERY VERY GOOD NEWS FOR ME!!!! Today I received a letter from Citizenship and Immigration that said....... my application for Perminant Resident......... is....... almost approved for!! There are some more questions I need to fill in, and then it can still take a couple of months.....but...... I was so afraid about this, had me worried for quit some time, cause you never know....Oh, and more good news! I can apply for a WORK PERMIT!!!! Yes yes yes!! This is so great, cause I really get bored stiff from sitting at home all the time, live here for more then a year now and really, really want to do something more with my life than scrapbook and clean! So they are gonna send me the forms that I have to fill in, and then it is waiting time again! Just had to tell you this!

Next weeks prompt is gonna be later, because we are going on a short holiday coming Sunday, and will be back Thursday or Friday, so I will have to catch up!

Great idea for your card, very original. My eldest son is like this also..you're not a Virgo are you? I used to be like this too but learnt to let it go to some extent. Love your lettering, looks great..and congratulations on your very good news :)
