Art Journal Challenge #14

Wow, Emily was early this week, at least for me, most of the times I see the challenge Monday morning! But this was great! Hadn't been scrapping in a few days, so a good opportunaty to do something on a Sunday night! Birds, that's this weeks prompt, had to think about that one, but all of a sudden it came to mind, the Red Cardinal! I love that bird, it makes such a wonderful noise, that it makes you feel glad to be alive! Because it's hard to take a picture of this bird this time of year I looked one up, and made this! Very fast, strange for me..... but hey, it's done!

I've printed it on vellum, and used the Dymo for it's name, inked the edges a bit, and used gluedots to put it on a piece of Basic Grey. The journaling is on the back;

Used one of my latest Autumn Leaves stamps in the corner, had to use it...... and love it! Can't wait to see what everybody makes of this challenge, don't think mine is that creative, but I still like it!

Marjolein, You've done a great job again this time! I've been behind because of the home makeover and the baby album of Fien, done about 3 Lo's a night...
Some standing record for me!

Happy easter days Greetings from Holland!

Very nice! I actually saw my first Cardinal ever last week on Kauai, I think it was a Northern Cardinal, if I remember correctly. We don't have either in Oregon.
