Today Anouk had her Spelling Bee at school, boy, was she nervous, and so was I, had a real knot in my stomach..... Mom's are even worse than kids I think!
Ok, I went to school and had to wait for a bit, but got to know another mom, so had a nice talk with her. Her son won last year and had to go to Toronto!
Anouk was #18...... and she was a little pail, but, didn't look that nervous though. Good for her. And than, it was her turn... A word.... don't even know it... "paramount" or something like that. She could have asked for a definition, or a sentence with the word in it, but she didn't. And bummer, she was wrong!! I could see that she hated her self for that mistake, but you know what? As far as I'm concerned, she won! She was there, she was so good that she could at least try, and she did, so, she's a winner for me!
