Spelling Bee and Science project

Yesterday when I picked up Anouk from school, she got in the car and was all excited! They had had a spelling bee in class, and she was one of the three best kids! "So mom, next Wednesday, we have a Spelling Bee in the gym, with all the other kids that were best of their class, and when I win, and keep on winning, I can go to Toronto, and be on national TV!!!!!!!"
Oh boy..... that sounds super! And the best part is, I can be there too, Wednesday! As you all can understand I would love to bring my camera, but...... if she hears the word, she starts acting up; "No mom, please don't.... I'll be so emberrased when you are making pictures". Ok, thanks alot..... So no pictures, but, I'll be there and will tell you all about it later that day, and, I'm very proud of her, since September she's at school, and now she can do a Spelling Bee........ THAT'S GREAT!

She also had a Science Project this week, with three other girls, and they made this Windmill. All glued together using popsickel sticks, a battery, lid of a waterbottle and a small motor. And...... it works too!! You have to hold a copper wire against something else and then it turns around.

She's showing it here, but the camera doesn't show the movement, but it sure looks great! They made 5 of them, one for every girl, and one for the teacher! And also the had to write a manual about how they made it, and how it is suppose to work! Don't ya all like it!?
