Hate messed up spelling!

Does that ever happen to you? You've got your alphabet stamps ready, know exactly what you wanna stamp and than..... you start out with the wrong letter!!!!
Hate it when that happens!!
Well, made something else out of it, so the page wasn't completely useless and I love the background, so...

.... this is what I ended up with!

What I just love about this page is the white circles that hardly look white because I'd used yellow spraywash on the background and it just picks it up! Amazing what color can do!!

Perfume + spread!

Earlier this week I showed my Lipstick page, and while looking in my journal, I found it kind of silly looking all by itself. 

So, I decided to make another page next to it, about my favorite perfume! 

This is the result, I just love these stamps by Dyan Reaveley, Further around the Edge, the leaves are just gorgeous and so much fun to color with spray ink!

And when you see the 2 next to each other it looks like this! Totally happy with the out come!

Resolutions!!

Even though it's already January 3rd, I've made a New Years resolution!
I'm going to try to post at least once a week here.... I know, it's gonna be pretty hard I think, but.... let's just give it a try!

The first day of the year started of so gloomy that I decided I had to make something bright and colorful, so I choose pink!

This is my youngest daughter Anouk, who turned 16 on July 11. She decided to go and get her G1 and she did! So very proud of her!

TMTA * Art Journal

I liked this weeks prompt at TMTA and started looking for pictures right away!

Moulin Rouge, aaaah, la douce France.... love it!! My atc is not that "rouge" but more the pink way, but... that's the dancers fault!

Last week I've been pretty busy working on my very first Art Journal page. Something I wanted to do for a long time, but just didn't get to it! Now I just made time, started with gesso and paint and looked through lots of magazines, put pieces together, took some off, added more... until I was satisfied!

This is how it turned out, and I'm happy with it. To help me get started I used Susan Buckner's step by step tutorial, which is really awesome! The journaling is about a big change in our lives, which really the subject we talk about lately. Can't wait to get started on the next page!
