Card a la Kate Crane!

Jeanette showed some cards this week on a Yahoogroup I'm a member of, and I loved them, so tried to make one myself!
This is what I did;

I started with a letter size sheet of watercolor paper, and took 4 colors of watercolor paint, yellow, orange, white and green and just started paining them onto the paper.

After that I took a Crafters Workshop template, and used 2 different ink colors and sponged through it.

With my metric circle template I sponged 2 orange colors (light and dark) and after that used a bottle cap and first covered it in white paint and stamped with it around the circles, after that was dry I did the same with black paint. The black and white stripes are done with a credit card and when you use water to make the paint a little thinner, and a small brush, you can have tons of fun, just splashing the paint on the paper.

I printed out a quote I'd found and cut it out and clued it on the card..... finished!
