Faux Leather

For our monthly 4 x 4" technique swap Anneke and I agreed on doing the faux leather technique. This is so much fun to do!
As she received the ones I made for her, I can show them here!

I found it pretty hard to stamp on a kind of "slippery" surface, so I stamped on other paper and just cut it out and glued it to the cards.
Anneke's cards are in the mail, I sure hope they get here soon!

OOOh love the new technique, very clever Miss Thing!!
Sorry I have been absent, I just have been so busy and ill to boot. On the mend now though.
Hope you are well, are you still scrapbooking? I have not seen any layouts from you for ages.

Beautiful pieces. Try stamping onto acid free tissue & use glue such as pva/modge podge or glossy accents to adhere the pieces. The tissue wil melt into the background & give the apearance of being stamped directly onto the surface. Works extremely well on canvas :0)
