TMTA Lyrics

This is the very first time I participate in a challenge at Think Monday-Think ATC, but I had to join this one! As I'm still trying out a lot of things with ATC's and see so many different techniques it was just so much fun to step in!

It's all about lyrics this week, and as soon as I saw it, this Beatles song came to mind! I've allways loved it, and still do. On the internet I found this picture of the Beatles, made a gesso transfer which did not completely turn out the way it was supposed to be, but hey, I'm a beginner and because of the fact that not everything in art has to be perfect... I'm showing it anyway!

Juist dat weggevaagde vind ik heel goed passen bij de Beatles en bij Imagine. Er blijft een en ander to imagine... Ik vind het een mooie ATC.

Thanks for visiting my blog and for your the nice comment. (yes, your first comment made it through just fine).

I love your ATC. It may not have worked out like you wanted it to, but it's got a great vintage feel.

I love that song! The transfer might not have turned out perfect, but I think it makes the card more interesting. Adds character, haha. I have a card where, in practice, the transfer worked great, so I go to do the real thing, and it hardly turned out at all. I ended up adding to it with paint, to the point that you'd never know it was a transfer at all. But its actually my best card, haha. Accidents are good sometimes.

Also, the tutorial is up! http://cassandramarie.wordpress.com/2009/03/12/atctutorial-neverland/

FAb ATC. Art is meant to be self expression & the less perfect the better really! I used to take part every week on TMTA but ran out of steam. Now I struggle to create at all :(
