Paper Adventure '08 #8

Finally another post, I know I've been quiet for a while. Just didn't have anything to blog about.. same old same old here, still winter, still cold, still lost my MoJo.. except for these Paper '08 operations, I just love them!!! This is what Elise had to say about this weeks operation;

I am turning 23 on Friday. And I considered a lot of "new" topics in my hurry to enter a New Year. But then I decided that sometimes, much more interesting than what is new, is what is old. Old things have stories. Old things should be celebrated.
This week, tell the story of something old.
Something loved. Something worn. Something passed down. Something treasured.
Or not.
Maybe your old object is something you need to throw away. Something that keeps breaking down. Something that needs to be retired.
Whatever it is, think about it. Think about how you got it. Think about why you have it. Think about what it represents. Think old.

Here is my "something old", again without any photos on it, so you have to click on the picture to read what is old for me, and very valuable!

Very bad photo, and I see I have some dusting to do here.......yuk...... but this is my grandma's sawing machine, and I love it!

And this is the other antique one we have, so you can see what I mean on my jouraling!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Oh I love the font of the words "Something old" on the tab! Is that your handwriting or a computer font or a sticker? Either way, its beautiful and cute and spunky!

well done on the no-pictures entries! I know i couldn't do it all the time!

Great page I like your journalling.
Mine will probably get done Friday night as I have other challenges to do & as the temperatures are well below freezing here, I take myself off to bed at 8.30pm with a book.

Gave story weer!

Fijn weekend.
